Fall Fellowship

Everyone from church came to the property for the fall fellowship, which included a jelly bean contest, sewing contest, baking contest, and horse shoe-throwing contest. There was also a lot of food--chili, hotdogs, salads, etc. The theme of the day was cowboys and Indians, and if you wanted to you could enter the contest for the best costume. Lydia made this neat poster.

(I want my guy alive! =)

Four little cowboys.

Russell and me.

Russell helped the cowboys "reload." =D

Aaron, the cool cowboy!

Russell and me again!

The Maynard family.

The Maynard family + me.

He's the big bad brute! =D He's such a teddy bear at heart!

Six phriends.

Dad and Mom.

The Huussen family + Russell.

What a beautiful cowgirl!

The modern cowboy checking his iPhone.

Good boy, Clay! Keep that up! =)

Another view of the property and the goings on.

Fellowshipping.

Mom entered the colonial dress she and I made and won 1st place in the sewing contest and also got a prize for her white chili.

Lydia and Aaron won 1st place in the costume contest. Good job!!! =)

And then there was the wood-chopping contest. Here's Bro. Buddy having a go at it.

Then Aaron tried...

Then Clay...

And finally Josiah gave it a swing. They did good, though it was Bro. Rob who won. Russell won last year and wanted to try again this year but I wouldn't let him because he hurt his back bad.

Oreo went wild as gunshots went off during the turkey shoot.

And he's the 1st place cowboy heading home after a long day of good food and fun.
