Home At Last!

On March 30th I left home to go home. Now I am home at last! After many weeks of feeling like I didn't know where home was, I can finally say I am home. God has been SOOOOOO good! He has fulfilled every promise He made to me. He has blessed beyond measure! In just 5 days I am going to be Russell's bride! The Lord is SOOO very good! Getting off the plane, we literally hit the ground running. I have a lot of pictures I want to post, but I just can't find the time. Lydia recently did this beautiful picture post on her blog, and she kindly allowed me to copy it to my own blog for you all to see. I hope you enjoy it. Thanks for all your prayers and please continue to pray for us. My prayer every morning is that the Lord will be our Master of Ceremonies, cause then I know everything will go according to plan...a perfect plan that was formed long, long ago. Yes...God is good! =) (You all are going to hear that a lot in up coming posts. =D) Well, I'll shut up and let you all get on with the looking. =) Thanks for the pics, Lyd!

We're here. I decided it was time to do a picture post. I wanted to do one before, but I didn't have a computer to use. Besides that, it's been go-go-go ever since we arrived. I'm looking forward to having things slow down.

Hannah's last look at our house...

We stopped at McDonald's for breakfast before getting on the plane.

If heaven itself was simply made of white, fluffy clouds like these, I'd be very satisfied.

We met up with Russell in Atlanta and headed for the hotel.

Once there, everyone headed out to a restaurant for dinner. I stayed, got a shower, and settled down with a history book.

We went to Cracker Barrel in the morning....

Tradition!

I love rockers...

(He hath made every thing beautiful in His time.) I thought it was a pretty picture even if they did use the wrong version. I love that verse.

...in HIS time...not ours.

We were best friends before anything else...that's what makes this relationship so special.

The "hick music" outside Cracker Barrel was hilarious. It's amazing what people sing about.

We stopped at Stone Mountain Park on the way home...

Ooo, I love this picture...

Joe was thrilled (not) to be going to Confederate Park. Lol. (I thought it was very interesting. I've never been to one before. I wish we could've stayed longer, but my feet wouldn't hear of it. Traveling is so rough on my feet.)

The flags...

The only way to find out what's around the bend is to keep walking and trusting.

There's something very hopeful about new blooms on a tree...

Jefferson Davis, Robert E. Lee, Thomas (Stonewall) Jackson...

50-years-old and still feeling a little bit boyish... =)

White way delight...

Whenever I look at this picture I just have to sigh contentedly. Heaven must be breathtaking--because I think this is pretty incredible.

We stopped at Starbucks...
Yummy, a vanillabean Frappuccino...

We played hangman to pass the time. I thought Russell should write these verses down for Hannah. He did...Bible verses seemed to be a hit.

Charity suffereth long, and is kind;...Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. Charity never faileth:

(Can you guys tell which pictures were taken with which camera?)

We made it!

Oh, what a sight. This is the land I love...

Spring is here!

*Old camera pictures again*

It was so hot the other day that we went and sat on the dock to get our feet wet.

Russell decided to go for a swim. It's a good thing too. If he hadn't made up his own mind to do it, I would've pushed him in myself. He is SO bad.

Hannah enjoyed throwing water on Russell--even though he was already soaking wet. If you think life is boring...just go spend some time around a "ready-to-be-married" couple. It's very...........interesting. =D

Let's see...is it leaking?

Clay and "Leviathan" took us for a boat ride. *chuckle* (That wasn't my terminology, by the way.)

Row-row-row your boat gently down the stream...

It was such a pretty day...

We made it out without tipping. Three cheers for the guys!

We went to the mall down by the beach...

Stopped for icecream...

Mom and my Southern Momma...

How romantical--one bowl and two spoons.

iPhones and Starbucks...

Waiting around...

You know, these captions really stink. Sorry...

Just hanging out...

Oh yes, it's FLORIDA!

Sweet...

We went back to the Maynard's house to hang out. Hannah and Russell folded the ceremony bulletins and some of us practiced songs for the wedding.

Snacking on chips...

*Oink-oink*

You guys look too mischievous for your own good...

We went to check out the reception hall. It is very impressive.

Isn't that trolly adorable? I felt like I'd stepped back in time when I saw it.

Okay, that's all for now. I've already spend far too much time uploading and resizing all these so I'm going to stop here. (I miss you all!)

Hannah,

I am so glad you are home! How very comforting that must be! You're in the center of the Lord's will, that one safe and happy place to be.

I enjoyed seeing these pictures on Lydia's blog a few days ago. They are beautiful beyond measure! Joy shines in your eyes and Russell's. Oh yes, the Lord is very good. He has made you two so blessed and very happy!

I've been praying that the preparations for the wedding and the ceremony itself will go smoothly. I'm praying the Lord will make your wedding as beautiful as it can be. Oh, I wish I could be there!!! How precious it will be for all who witness God's uniting of your lives. Many weddings today are so cheapened by unfaithfulness and selfish love. Your wedding will be something very wonderful indeed because your love for each other finds its source in God, Who is love.

I love you, dear Hannah, and my heart it thrilled for your happiness! May the Lord bless you and Russell more and more as you walk together and serve Him.

Praise the Lord!

Naomi
