Working Together!

Something very exciting happened on July 2nd! I found a table set on Craig's List for an excellent price. We bought it!

Once we got it home we began cleaning it on the front porch. It's amazing what soap and water can do. The set looked almost brand-new once it was washed down!

Here are my two thrilled helpers. You can tell they're just loving this! =D
Russell was stuck with the job, but Tebow could have gotten out of it. He hung around anyway. I think he liked being around all that water. It was hot, as all summer days are in Florida!

As the chairs dried in the afternoon heat I spied this little lizard. As long as they stay outside I think they're really cute!

Thank-you cards!

I had started writing thank-you cards for all the lovely gifts and money we received for our wedding just prior to the boys being taken out of the home here on the property. After all that transpired as a result of that awful incident, picking up where I left off was really the last thing on my mind. It's pretty disturbing having your husband put in jail for crimes he didn't commit. Things have settled down somewhat as we wait for the trial to take place, so I have started writing thank-you cards again.

I recruited a certain young man to help me, since he has also benefitted from people's generosity. Here are his thoughts: I really am trying to be happy about doing this, cause I want to stay a good boy! =D
Anything can be fun when it's done with a good spirit and someone you love!

I got our address labels from Vista Print and only paid shipping on them. They have really great deals sometimes. I chose the double hearts because it matches our wedding invitations, etc. As we worked we enjoyed my fresh, homemade peanut butter cookies and milk!

Then we watched a movie after working for a while. I recently rearranged the living room. It looks so much bigger and cozier! I'm going to have before-and-after pictures uploaded soon...I hope. ;)
