This is a dumb poem I wrote (I call it my "ation poem"--ha!) when I found out that my family and I are "escaping" life (yeah, right!) to go on vacation. (chuckle) I'm really happy (as if you can't tell) that we're taking some time off. If you read this post (click here) then you know why I'm so happy! Things have been so hectic lately, and we just need to get away! Praise God for providing a way that we could! As the poem says, I'm not telling where we're going, but it's pretty neat! I'll post some pictures and stuff when we get home. Bye-bye, all!
Happy day, we’re going on vacation!
I can describe to you my great elation,
But I cannot disclose the secret location
I have a nice picture in my imagination
Of total isolation and lazy procrastination
Laughter and games or quiet meditation
I assure you I’ll enjoy the relaxation!
For it will be without any frustration
What a happy, happy celebration!
