Nathan, chocolate baby #2. This is a picture that was taken when we babysat the boys last Saturday. Isn't he cuuuuute? =)
The following pictures are from our church fellowship last month. Yes, I finally uploaded them! =D It took me a while, but I did do it! As the night progressed we had more people arrive. It was nice!
Mom, smiling (doesn't she have a pretty smile?), and Dad talking to Denny.
Bro. Mischa is the guy standing up in the gray sweater. He is my dad's right-hand man. He and I also do the music on Sundays. Bro. Mischa has certainly been a blessing down through the years. Thank God, there are still a few good men! God needs faithful men who will give it all they've got and not succumb to Satan's sly tactics. There are certainly enough spineless creatures out there who will fall for anything...but where are the MEN? Who will step up and do what is RIGHT?
Josiah playing the guitar. I don't know why he doesn't play more often. He thinks he doesn't sound good, but it sure sounds nice to me.
We played hockey. This was just practice. We had a bunch of big guys show up to play, and Dad didn't count Lydia and me in when he was making teams. That was probably for the best. I didn't feel like getting plowed over, bruised, and all that. Instead, I played the piano in the nursery, and Lyd and I sang together. I really enjoyed that!
Don't mess with us. We've got big bad guns. =D
My baby brother...who's now bigger than me. Where does time go?
And here is Josiah again. He was just shooting the puck around for fun. If he had really been playing hockey you would only see him as a blur. =D

Thanks for sharing the pictures, Hannah! It looks like you had a great time of fellowship and fun. It's so nice to see faces of faithful people in Holland. Praise God!
We're having the most terrifying blizzard right now! =O The biggest one we've had in years. It picked up yesterday afternoon. Two men actually braved the storm to come to the evening church service. Praise the Lord! That was an encouraging evidence of commitment. I'll tell you more about the blizzard later. =)
Love you!
Naomi
That fellowship looked like fun. Funny story, a few years back we had a church camping trip. We organized a game of volleyball and one of the guys knocked my sister over trying to hit the ball. She actually spit grass out of her mouth after that fall. Ever since we are really cautious about playing sports with people who try really hard to win games that they will knock you over to hit your ball. I'm glad your dad didn't count y'all to get hit. =D
Hi Hannah,
Praise the Lord for your nice blog. Thank you for your faithfulness in serving the church and God's people! I enjoy your bible studies and the devotionals you put on your blog.
Don't give in to the enemy, not one inch! Always stand in the victory, never flinch!
Mischa
Were you playing some other kind of hockey? (other than ice skating...) Looks like you all had a lot of fun!
Yes, Naomi! I believe its called street hockey. We use a small ball instead of a puck. Really a blast!!! =)
hi miss Hannah...I read some of your posts. You really have a sweet humor. I also sense a tender and a sensitive heart...no doubt, quickened by the Holy Spirit.... I add your blog to follow..so i hope to hear many more wonderful and life changing happenings (like the street meeting)..my prayers are with you and your dad too...Appreciate your dad and mom for the decision to obey God and go to Holland...God be with you.
Hey Sis....i wonder if my first post got reached your blog; saw that it needed your approval, if my posting and comments are not welcome, then i am sorry, and promise that this would be my last post... On my second visit to your blog and going through some of the pictures.... I realized that you are so so blessed to have godly parents who would raise you in Christ and teach you Christian virtues. Your comments on your bro and sis were really kind... even the hardest of heart would be glad to have you for a sis...Thank you for loving God..and for showing us a glimpse of Him in your life. May our lives continue to be an example and a comfort to many, amen? My prayers are with you & your family sis...thanks for sharing those pictures again.
Hello!
I don’t mind comments at all. It’s good to encourage each other in the Lord and to find encouragement from fellow brothers and sisters. It is a blessing to be sure, especially in these last days. =)
However, I would like to point out, as I do with all males who read my blog, that I am not searching for a date, a husband, etc. I am already taken. I do hope this is not offensive to you. I just want to make this clear.
God bless!
