Beach Blast!

I made this sugar-free punch bowl cake for my mother-in-law's birthday.

There's nothing quite like relaxing on the beach! There were very few people out--nice!

The creation is evidence of a Creator!
Someone designed that bridge--because it's there--and I'm sure the designer can attest that it wasn't the result of a "big bang," but, rather, much thought, labor, time, and money.

Genesis 1:6 And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.
Genesis 1:9 And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.
Genesis 1:10 And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good.
Genesis 1:20 And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.

The only "big bang" I believe in is what must have sounded like a thunderous explosion when the voice of Almighty God resounded through empty space as He spoke the world into existence.

Russell spent most of the afternoon in the water. He had a blast, and it was fun to watch him.

The water was kinda wild. You can see the undertow. The water is licking the sand up.

I found these pretty shells while scouring the beach.

One of the pleasantest things in life is feeling warm sand between your bare toes.

A lovely day to read! I'm reading a book series Russell bought me last year by Beverly Lewis called "Annie's People."

Dinner--chicken burgers, pickles, chips, veggies and humus...and sand! Don't you love that gritty feeling while you're chewing your food? =D

Russell had me bury him...and then he was Raptured! =D

Can you imagine what it's going to be like after the Rapture, when graves bust wide open as the saints of God are called Home? I'm so ready to go!

I love my Scottish boy!

It was fun to play in the sand as the tide came in and the sun began setting.

Have you ever noticed how your ears ring after you've been on the beach for a while, having heard the continual sound of the water and waves for so long? The Bible says in the Book of Revelation, I believe, that the voice of the Lord is as the sound of many waters.

Beach + sunset = romantic!

The heavens declare the glory of God!

(sigh) These pictures made me so happy, Hannah! I'm so very, very glad you are Russell got to spend some special time together at the beach. The water and the sky are beautiful! I got a kick out of the "rapture" pictures. (chuckle) What a thrilling thought!!! Glory to God! I can't wait till that great Day gets here! As the Marshall sisters sing, "I'll be gone! Goin' Home when the trumpet sounds!"

Okay, we've got ladies' Bible study in less than a half hour. I'd better get downstairs and start some tea and coffee. =)

Lots of love!

Naomi

P.S. Your blog looks SO pretty in its new pink makeover! =D I LOVE it!
